Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     As an expert in HR systems management the HRIS/SA will be the business owner for the company’s HRIS software and will lead the project to connect HR and related Finance systems in the most efficient way. This is a relevant project that will support company wide initiatives and contribute to gain efficiency and support expansion. He/she will play a key leadership role in defining how HR systems can be optimized to provide an amazing employee experience that supports the team to become a high impact HR organization.

    To help him/her in this task, he/she will manage the HRIS team with HRIS 3 specialists distributed in different countries.

    Responsibilities

    • HR Systems:

    Analyses business requirements and determine hardware/software required to meet the business needs, taking into consideration the HR team is currently using different systems: ATS (Recruitment), Core system, Compensation, Benefits, Talent management, Payroll (third party systems), Corporate Employee Database (internal), Time and Absence, etc. The goal is to have main DBs connected among them and with internal Finance platforms to avoid duplicate tasks and ensure accuracy of principal data.

    Build strong relationships with business and HR leaders and participate in the design of the architecture of the HR systems and how they connect to Finance platforms. He/she will lead the configuration and implementation of new HR systems and will ensure their maintenance.

    Responsible to configure the HR platform to adjust it in the most efficient way to the needs of the countries using it (40 countries). Liaise with vendor’s support team to make the follow-up of enhancements and bugs of the tool.

    Responsible for the maintenance of data integrity.

    Will collaborate with senior HR management in reviewing process workflows and identifying opportunities to increase functional productivity. Propose enhancements to automate, integrate, and configure HR tools and/or processes. Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions and workflows.

    Responsible for the day-to-day support provided by HRIS to the HR team.

    Responsible for role-based user security and ensuring appropriate user access to all systems.

    Will collaborate with information technology resources to ensure compliance with information security and to support system implementation efforts.

    • HR KPIs:

    With the help of a Data analyst reporting into him/her, responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of simple and complex reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Develops/supervises the configuration of standard and ad hoc reports for ongoing customer needs.

    Supervises the preparation of the monthly HR KPIs.

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of systems and database design and systems and database management tools.
    • Capacity to develop a strategic understanding of business needs and to implement the required systems and tolls in accordance to them.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Continuous learner interested in both tinkering with software and navigating the complexities of HR.
    • Confidentiality – because handling sensitive data is a key part of the job, HRIS should be trustworthy and professional, maintaining confidentiality in all situations
    • Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field
    • A specialized Master or certification (ex:Certified Technical Architect (CTA)) will add up significant value to the application
    • In-depth knowledge of computer systems and their design. Experience participating in the design and configuration of adapted systems and tools to business needs. Experience with HR systems will be a plus.
    • Capacity to understand business needs and design workflows and processes in accordance. Project Management skills and experience would be very appreciated.
