Position Summary
Housing Connector is looking for a Market Director to join us as we launch in Portland, Oregon!
The Market Director in Oregon plays a critical role in the expansion of Housing Connector and increasing housing security for individuals in the Portland community. As an entrepreneurial leader you will be responsible for the ultimate success of the market, building productive relationships with local property managers and partnering with stakeholders to drive impact.
Building on the success of Housing Connector in Washington State, you will adapt best practices to the local context, be a resource for the housing community, and help write the playbook for future expansion into other markets. This role will provide you with the opportunity for end- to-end ownership of operations and to demonstrate the scalability of Housing Connector.
Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and loves to build impactful programs (organizations/products) and relationships from scratch. A strong aptitude for business-to-business sales, stakeholder management, and team building are a must. You have a bias for action and will utilize your experience in program leadership, your excellent communication skills, and strategic insights on the Portland market to ensure high quality results.
