The Housing Authority of the City of Mexico (HACM), Board of Commissioners, seeks an Executive Director. The HACM consists of approximately 203 public housing units, and 151 Section 8. The successful candidate will report to a five (5) member Board of Commissioners and assume responsibility as Chief Executive Officer over all aspects of the Authority’s operations, including but not limited to property management, redevelopment, procurement, planning, personnel, budgeting/finance, grants/ contracts, resident and community relations and the implementation of policies and procedures to assure decent, safe, and sanitary housing for all residents.
The position requires candidates to possess a degree from an accredited four-year college or university in public administration, social science or other appropriate program; and at least five (5) years of experience in public administration. Candidates must possess a Public Housing Management Certification or the ability to obtain such certification within one year of hire. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
