Hospital Staffing Coordinator jobs in Mississippi
Hospital Staffing Coordinator coordinates scheduling and staffing to ensure sufficient staff coverage for all shifts within a healthcare facility. Works with clinical and administrative departments to project staffing needs and achieve required staffing levels. Being a Hospital Staffing Coordinator utilizes and maintains staffing scheduling software/programs to schedule shifts, monitor staffing levels, and input related data. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Additionally, Hospital Staffing Coordinator may be responsible for recruiting new staff. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hospital Staffing Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual for our Staffing Coordinator position which will assist the nurse managers in maintaining the appropriate number of staff each shift.
Located in Meridian, Mississippi, Alliance Health Center is a 154-bed acute care psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital. The facility offers treatment programs for adults and adolescents and has a unique program track specifically for seniors. The Alliance campus is also home to The Crossings, a 60-bed residential treatment facility for adolescents.
For over 40 years, Alliance has been dedicated to serving individuals with acute mental and behavioral health disorders and addiction issues across the state of Mississippi and Alabama. Specific programs are provided for patients according to their diagnosis and age. Our behavioral health programs are offered to all ages from adolescents to seniors. Detoxification, dual diagnosis and New Leaf Recovery are offered to individuals ages 18 and up. We have a full spectrum of addiction services, from detoxification to our 30 day New Leaf Recovery program. We also offer dual diagnosis programming for those with mental illness and substance abuse.

Qualifications:
Degree in Business Admin preferred. Must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Or a Licensed PracticaL Nurse in Mississippi.
Experience in scheduling within a hospital setting preferred
Excellent Communication Skills required
Experience in Microsoft office a must. Computer skills a must.
