Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Duties/Responsibilities
- Prospect and cold call Fleet Managers, Operations Directors, and Owners.
- Perform equipment demonstrations and give presentations to decision making teams.
- Nurture incoming leads through to closure.
- Work closely and collaborate with internal operations staff.
- Keep records of all sales activities and prepare monthly reports for sales meetings.

Experience
You must have experience cold calling, visiting job sites and offices, performing equipment demonstrations to company owners and high-level decision makers as well as operators and end users.
