Summary:

• Inspect in-process, finished product, components and assemblies for accuracy and to verify adherence to engineering specifications.
• Inspect in-process prepped components for future assembly.
• Must be able to use Calipers, Micrometers & Various Measurement Tools for inspection and specification accuracy. (Training Provided)
• Determine acceptance or rejection criteria, record and notify management of issues and report inspection data.
• Perform quality audits to ensure processes, procedures and quality systems are being followed.
• Perform calibration on inspection hand tools. (Training Provided)
• Read and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals and bill of materials to determine inspection and test requirements.
• Working with Quality Engineer, will assist with initiating engineering change requests.
• Working with Quality Engineer will assist with corrective action requests.
• Will compile non-conforming material reports at direction of Quality Engineer.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 yrs. of work-related skill, knowledge or experience.
• Familiarity with Quality System requirements i.e. ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Must have inspected assembly with multiple component parts.
• Complete required quality inspection reports regarding in-process and completed.
• Perform work in a timely manner, while keeping quality the highest priority.
• Able to follow all quality procedures, work instructions and training given by the organization.

Experience:

• Quality Inspection / Assurance: 2 years (Required)
• Previous experience in a warehouse / assembly operation is required.
• Position will need a strong focus on quality inspection and production.
• Ability to communicate and work with all relevant associates: Quality Engineer, Production Team Lead, Production Manager
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented; strong organization skills with sound prioritizing abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
