Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. provides technical support during and after implementation for electronic data interchange applications used in healthcare settings. Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Qualifications

    • Demonstrated knowledge of architectural career and workforce processes, policies, and regulations in the United States, especially as outlined by AIA’s policies and positions guide.
    • Considerable knowledge of practice issues in architecture including a grasp of new and emerging issues and topics, related to internship, licensure, leadership, and practice issues spanning the full career spectrum.
    • Proficient written/oral communication, research, analysis, and organizational skills as well as superior customer service are required.
    • Demonstrated experience as a subject-matter expert who provides assistance, research, and advice to professionals.
    • Demonstrated skills in team building, supports direct reports professional development, team problem solving, conflict resolution, system and process development, broad project management skills, and balancing multiple short-term and long-term priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is preferred. Capability to effectively use Call for Proposals software such as, Cadmium or Openwater, social media platforms, and virtual volunteer networks is a benefit.
    • Experience with program and events development and vendor management. Not required but preferred.

     

     

     

    Advanced Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related field is desirable. Knowledge of the architectural and/or design industry within a membership organization is a plus.

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Managing Director of EDI Strategies the Sr. Director will lead the Institute's strategic efforts to recruit and retain underrepresented professionals in architecture while cultivating experiences to help them thrive. The primary program areas are workforce management, career management, leadership development, and mentorship. Various audiences are served through this work, including but not limited to, emerging professionals, women in architecture, and other marginalized groups. The senior director will focus on implementing established goals in conjunction with cross-teams across the AIA through a series of delivery methods: education and event programming, content and program development, research, and volunteer engagement.

     

    Job Duties

      • Identifying and Addressing Professional Barriers for Underrepresented Groups
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners on digital program strategy to better serve underrepresented professionals nationwide.
    • Identifies and researches EDI trends related to workforce, career, leadership, and mentorship and integrates this knowledge into programs, initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Measures impacts of program enhancements to solidify further refinement.
    • Directs team’s development of content for AIA communication channels to disseminate information and knowledge through appropriate channels, including the AIAU platform.
    • Assists in developing annual budget and financial projections for the team’s objectives.
    • Directs day-to-day project budget management and develops proposals for new products and revenue streams to benefit members.
    • Provide overall direction and programming to the Women’s Leadership Summit, an AIA signature event serving approximately 1,000-1,500 attendees, ensuring alignment with mission, content, experience, financial and long-range goals.
    • Oversee programs advancing EDI in the workplace and underrepresented professionals, including execution and strategy. These may include AIA Conference on Architecture and Design events, Leadership Summit events, member group meetings, virtual education programs, and other efforts.
    • Support the development of workplans and function as thought partner for key member groups, Equity and the Future of Architecture Committee, and the WLS Advisory Group.
    • Work alongside AIA colleagues, collaborate on the development of events and programs for alliance organization events. This includes programming and tactics around EDI workforce issues and pathways within the profession, including advancing the relationship with assigned Alliance Partners, as appropriate.
    • Lead initiatives and collaborates with components, allied organizations, academic, non-profit organizations, and architectural firms for increased equity, diversity, and inclusiveness among firms, components, and AIA members and within AIA systems.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams to promote the Institute's initiatives and accomplishments related to EDI Strategies.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
