Head Nurse - Nursing Home plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a nursing home. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, this position will work Monday-Friday, every other holiday, NO WEEKENDS!
Successful completion at an accredited school of nursing.
Current license in the state of Minnesota (LPN or RN).
Demonstrates leadership or potential leadership ability.
