Group Branch Manager manages the financial and service performance of a defined group of retail branches in a geographic area. Establishes the strategy, specific goals, and performance levels required for each branch to meet the organizational objectives for the region. Being a Group Branch Manager monitors and analyzes financial and customer activity to understand needs, identify issues, and provide the tools and resources needed to achieve goals. Leads business development and promotional activities in the area and coaches branch managers in tactics to build customer relationships, increase sales, and enhance the bank's presence in the community. Additionally, Group Branch Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group Branch Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Group Branch Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Are you ready to lead a team of dedicated professionals while setting the stage for success? Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm looking for a dynamic and motivated Branch Manager to join our team in Champaign, Illinois.

    This is a role that wears many hats. In addition to leading the Champaign branch, you’ll also be a Project Manager and a key client contact. Your mission will be to ensure projects go smoothly, stay on course and end successfully.

    What you’ll do
    As the Champaign Branch Manager, you’ll orchestrate efficiency, net profit and net revenue while minimizing write-offs and rework. Your touch will turn each project into a success story. You’ll also:
    • Handle day-to-day branch operations, including overseeing personnel in Champaign.
    • Develop relationships with other managers, senior leadership and marketing to define market and client opportunities and strategies for business development.
    • Turn prospects into clients by building relationships and trust.
    • Maintain clients by establishing a working relationship with key decision makers and influencers based on Fehr Graham’s Core Values.
    • Lead projects using resources to accurately invoice clients within budget.
    • Prepare client contracts, statements of qualifications, fee proposals and contracts.
    • Effectively communicate ideas and technical concepts to coworkers and with clients on sensitive and complex matters. 
    • Understand client needs and apply innovative thinking to solve problems and capture opportunities. 
    • Ensure quality control for projects and clients. 
    • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of market, client, and technology trends and advancement. 
    • Attend meetings and community and industry events.
    • Follow/research industry trends and communicate back to the team. 
    • Prepare and present formal client presentations.
    • Maintain client confidentiality for all project work.
    • Recruit, develop, coach and mentor staff.
    What it takes
    This position requires a license in your respective discipline, a bachelor’s or master’s degree with eight years of experience in staff supervision, client relations, and/or business development and project management. Ideally, you will also: 
    • Have experience in the consulting industry. 
    • Be certified in Project Management.
    • Speak and write well.
    • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Be a team player.
