Groundskeeper jobs in Maryland
Groundskeeper cuts and maintains lawns and grass. Rakes leaves and cares for plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Being a Groundskeeper determines the appropriate plants or shrubs for walkways or garden areas. Provides grounds maintenance in all seasons. Additionally, Groundskeeper is responsible for snow and dirt removal. Keeps the grounds and environment of a facility in a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and healthy condition. Operates light trucks and assorted power equipment. Performs routine cleaning and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment. May require horticultural training. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Groundskeeper works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Maintains the facility grounds and may assist with general maintenance duties. Will perform all tasks as assigned by the General Services Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

High school diploma or equivalent

One (10 year previous experience in ground keeping, in a skilled or other health care institution
