Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, grant writing, and grant reporting.
- Experience interacting with a wide variety of clientele (executive leadership, staff, visitors, and donors).
- Experience working with external partners.
- Ability to meet deadlines, track, and monitor scheduling and planning activities.
- Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, make reasoned decisions, and multi-task.
- Comfortable in professional, fast-paced, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to work effectively in and foster a team environment to develop and maintain confidences.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledgeable of Code of Federal Regulations, 2 CFR Section 200 and its application to grant awards is a preferred.
Understanding of the federal, state, local, and private funding landscape.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of nonprofit development and grant writing experience
- Interest in community engagement, architecture/design a plus

PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WY. This position will periodically be required to be on-site at th
AIA Headquarters in Washington, DC at the completion of the renovation in Spring 2025.
