Government Compliance Manager plans and directs the government compliance function; provides corporate-wide focus for efforts relating to compliance with government procurement laws and regulations. Includes oversight responsibility for government contract compliance audit and training functions. Being a Government Compliance Manager establishes policy on a variety of procurement matters, including government accounting, government property and independent research and development issues. Develops and maintains the company's compliance risk management program to manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements and benchmarking research, facilitating the systematic assessment and management of compliance risks.
