    Position Overview:

    As a Glass Installer, you will play a crucial role in installing glazing for both residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with the Sales team, ensuring seamless communication and successful execution of projects. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a proven track record in glazing installations and a hunger for success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install glazing products, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
    • Collaborate with the Sales team to assist general marketing efforts
    • Understand and interpret basic residential and commercial blueprints, providing insights and expertise for successful project execution
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and proactive communication within the operations team
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, throughout all phases of project execution
    • Report to management on project status, key performance indicators, and operational efficiency

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in glazing installations
    • Strong technical skills with a track record of quality work
    • Experience collaborating with Sales teams and interpreting basic blueprints
    • Proactive attitude, hunger for success, and a problem-solving mindset
    • Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration
    • OSHA certification is desirable
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

    Physical Requirements:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
      • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear
      • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color
      • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc
      • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
      • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice
      • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
