GIS Analyst jobs in Oklahoma

TEKsystems is partnering with a company in Tulsa looking to hire a GIS Analyst. This person will use GIS applications to manage asset and reference data, create maps and generate analysis to support user requests. Follows standard processes to create, modify and transform data. Plans and organizes work, and coordinates with others to support business customer needs. Raises awareness of GIS technology and data solutions through interactions with internal customers.

This position will have an enterprise focus with responsibility related to data research and data creation. Candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

As a GIS Analyst, you will use GIS applications to manage asset and reference data, create maps and generate analysis to support user requests. You will also raise awareness of GIS technology and data solutions through interactions with stakeholders. The ability to build and maintain relationships with others, identify and communicate technology gaps and assess data to effectively problem solve are keys to success.
Contract Length: 6 month contract with potential to extend
This position will be onsite in Tulsa, OK

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Research pipeline and facility records, such as as-builts and P&IDs
Create, updates and deletes features and attributes in the enterprise geodatabase
Perform tasks using company standard set of GIS applications
Create and manages spatial data
Research, retrieve and review documentation for data management or analysis
Raise awareness of GIS technology and data solutions
Other duties as assigned
