Furnace Operator/Tender jobs in Colorado

PMCO is hiring in Golden, CO for several Furnace / Kiln Operator / Mechanics (formal title is a Plant Operator)!

$30/hr.

DIRECT HIRE / PERMANENT ROLES

Shift options will likely be:

• Days: 6 am-4 pm (4 x 10 hour shifts, exact days are unknown)
• Nights: 4 pm-2 am (4 x 10 hour shifts, exact days are unknown)

Travel required: roughly 25% travel each month

Details:

• You will be piloting the operations to prove feasibility of customer products
• Operating and testing equipment similar to furnaces and kilns
• You will be starting/stopping the equipment, adjusting it as necessary & monitoring operating conditions
• Breakdown & cleanout equipment
• You must be hands-on and have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Maintain a clean work area
• Collaborate with Research and Development department, Engineering department, Operations department & Science department
• Regularly lift 50-75 lbs.
• Learn how to run lab equipment, etc.

Must Have’s:

• Come from a heavy industrial background with exposure to furnaces or kilns
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Operator or mechanic experience with furnaces and kilns
