    About The Job


    The outstanding Grants and Funding Manager is primarily responsible for re‐enforcing relationships with local, state and federal funding agencies as well as ensuring that grant programs operate efficiently. Will also be responsible for streamlining grant administration and keeping our organization fiscally sound while maintaining strict compliance with the guidelines of specific grant awards.

    We are searching for a methodical and strategic grants manager to work with our organization in identifying new sources of funding and developing sustainable and effective grants programs. Your skills and expertise in successful grants management will aid our organization in securing continuous funding, improving business opportunities through effective funding programs, and executing meaningful projects. The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, great leadership qualities, and strong budgeting and monitoring skills. The outstanding Grants and Funding Manager should re‐ enforce relationships with Local, State and Federal Funding Agencies and ensure that grant programs operate efficiently, streamline grant administration, and keep our organization fiscally sound and maintain strict compliance with the guidelines of specific grant awards.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Managing overall grant efforts, documenting payments and expenditure and optimizing the grant administration process.
    • Preparing progress reports, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, reviewing grant proposals and managing grant databases.
    • Educating staff on policies, compliance and tracking financial activities

    Additional Responsibilities


    • Manage the daily operations of the Grants and Funding team.
    • Research, manage and track Grant Opportunities and awards.
    • Determining funding needs.
    • Coordinating and engaging with grant writers.
    • Identifying support agencies.
    • Optimizing the grant application process.
    • Provide detailed reports and updates to the Director of Grants and Funding on grants in progress.
    • Review DRAFT RFP responses and deliverables with legal and other departments within the organization. Managing timelines and deliverables for Grant Responses & Applications.
    • Preparing and monitoring budgets.
    • Tracking grant applications.
    • Manage Post‐Award Grants Management & Compliance.
    • Prepare final reports for close out of grants including assisting with final audit.
    • Assist with the execution of Grant Contracts.
    • Work closely with Corporate Communications for Press Releases of awards, announcements and project updates to the public.

    • Knowledge of auditing policies.
    • GIS Experience a plus

    Education And Experience


    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar discipline or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5 Years in various positions within the Telecommunications Industry
