Fraud Prevention Associate researches and analyzes potential customer fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud. Reviews and responds to suspected fraudulent service requests and identifies fraudulent transactions using various research methods. Being a Fraud Prevention Associate follows standard procedures to document a loss and prepares a summary and reconciliation. Communicates the status and resolution of the incident to the customer and/or bank. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Associate identifies areas that need increased security procedures or software to protect customer accounts. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fraud Prevention Associate works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Job responsibilities

    • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
    • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
    • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
    • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
    • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
    • Aligns with cross-functional partners to co-create business readiness materials and keep up-to-date with changes in customer solution and service needs

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
    • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
    • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
    • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
    • Experience in working and aligning with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders towards the common objective
    • Experience in developing and managing product documentation leveraging tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Passionate about Product Management frameworks, critical thinking, and problem solving
    • Exceptionally strong presentation and communication skills
    • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
    • Experience with Merchant services, Fraud Prevention and/or Payments products and services
    • Strong understanding of e-Commerce and Corporate business models (e.g. B2B, B2C, B2B2C)
