QCR Holdings is looking for a Fraud Investigator to join our Fraud team! The Fraud Investigator reviews fraud alerts and investigates suspicious or unusual activity to determine action required to prevent and/or recover fraud losses. They will initiate communication with customers, former customers and law enforcement to recover funds due to fraud or loss. They will act as a member of the Fraud Committee, monitor and track fraud losses and create monthly fraud loss reports. The Fraud Investigator will also assist in creating manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/duties inherent in the position.
Ideal candidates would have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry. A minimum of 2 years banking experience in fraud investigations, auditing and/or risk operations is preferred. Must have strong organizational, time management, decision making and analytical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to exercise discretion and use independent judgement along with managing and maintaining confidential information. Good written and oral communication skills required and must be skilled with various computer programs (Word, Excel, etc).
