POSITION: LAUNDRY AIDE

Forest Ridge is Teller county’s premier destination for post-hospital recovery and skilled nursing. Forest Ridge offers a level of comfort and care unmatched in the area including physical rehabilitation, memory care and long term care.

Purpose:  Performs a variety of laundry functions in order to maintain an adequate supply of linens at all times to meet the needs of the residents and to assist with personal laundry request.

Responsibilities:

• Perform specific laundry tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
• Exhibiting a courteous and professional demeanor at all times regardless of the situation and practicing genuine hospitality.
• Follows established infection control procedures
• Follows established policies and procedures related to safety measures
• Ability to follow instructions on how to operate laundry equipment
• Launder and deliver resident’s personal laundry per request
