We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientated Foreign Exchange (FX) Analyst to join our Electronic Trading team. As a FX Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and servicing our electronic platform trades, requiring an understanding of both the buy side and sell side of FX. You will work closely with traders, marketers, and technical teams in developing and maintaining revenue strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on foreign exchange trade data, as well as maintaining trading desk pricing methodologies. Duties will include the day-to-day execution of FX transactions, investigating technical issues to generate solutions, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders on best practices for evolving FX technology and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and data skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a keen interest in global financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute FX client transactions, including spot, forward, NDF and option trades, as well as order management and risk monitoring.
Collaborate with traders to implement and maintain market liquidity-based strategies.
Cooperate with broader development teams to improve FX Technology in response to changing client needs and regulatory requirements.
Implement new FX technology and construct best practice protocols.
Contribute to a dynamic team environment by providing support to colleagues across all activities on the desk.
Communicate effectively and efficiently to various teams during high volume periods.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of trade data and market themes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree. Major or minor in economics, finance, or computer science preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in e-trading, ideally but not limited to FX Markets.
Superior time management, including multi-tasking abilities and prioritizing daily tasks.
Quantitative skills - proficiency in Excel required, (including VBA). Tableau, data manipulation and statistical modelling skills preferred.
Familiarity with Bloomberg, FX ALL, and/or 360t also preferable.
The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while retaining acute attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment.
Hiring for daylight hours, but willingness to support alternative hours as needed preferred.
