Role Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Foreclosure Processor to join our team. The Foreclosure Processor will play a crucial role in managing and processing foreclosure documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. This position involves working collaboratively with internal teams, legal professionals, and external vendors to facilitate the smooth and timely progression of foreclosure proceedings.

Essential Duties:

Document Preparation:

• Prepare and review foreclosure-related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with legal professionals to address any document-related challenges.

Timeline Management:

• Monitor and manage timelines for foreclosure activities, including notice periods and sale dates.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations governing foreclosure timelines.

Communication:

• Communicate with internal teams, borrowers, and legal representatives to provide updates on the status of foreclosure files.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information related to foreclosure proceedings.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

• Perform accurate data entry of foreclosure-related information into the company's systems.
• Maintain organized and detailed records of all foreclosure documentation.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with foreclosure specialists, property preservation teams, and other relevant departments to address challenges and streamline processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance in all foreclosure documentation.
• Conduct regular audits to verify the completeness and correctness of foreclosure files.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a foreclosure processor or in a similar role within the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
• Occasional movement about inside the office to walk to offices and office machinery.
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
