Position: Forecast Analyst

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months, likely to extend

Client Industry: Consumer Electronics Appliance

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

• The Forecast Analyst will ensure AP1 forecasts are entered and updated for Distribution Partners and any other accounts related to specific product category. By ensuring AP1 is entered for all accounts, we can ensure RTF Supply can be automatically allocated to these accounts and improve our overall business visibility (e.g. revenue projection & gap analysis) for a 90 day period. (Suggested to fcst 9month out)
• Based on workload analysis below, we anticipate the need for one head to support current B2B Products with one additional head should we expand to support HHP/PC/TAB/LED Product

DUTIES AND RESPONISIBLITIES:

• Develop AP1 Forecasts for a 12 week to 9months period for specific Accounts by Product Groups
• Forecasts based on important Pipeline and sales guidance (LED Specific)
• Forecasts based on Historical Sales & Seasonality
• Forecasts to reflect Marketing Promotions
• Forecasts to align with SCM Supply Guidance
• Forecasts confirmed by Sales Account Managers
• Forecasts to reflect Product Transition (Product Life Cycle, EOL Management, Placeholder Forecasts)
• AP1 Entry and related reporting
• Enter AP1 Forecasts in mFas/GSCM Weekly
• Receipt orders to forecast (3~5 weeks out)
• AP1 WoW change report, KPI tracking, pipeline review, SCM day preparation.
• Consensus Building
• Weekly Report/Meeting with Sales Account Managers to review Forecasts
• Consensus Meetings with Marketing and Supply Chain
• SCM Day Review, Preparation
• CPFR
• Attend Planning calls with Sales and Accounts as required

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

• AP1 Input Rate
• FA1 (AP1 Forecast Accuracy)
• AP1/AP2 Consensus Rate
• Distributor Sell- Thru Forecast Accuracy
• Orders to AP1 Forecast
• Channel WoS
• Complete Individual Projects as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Background in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Analysis, or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience in relevant field
• Excellent Analytical and Computer Skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Office Suite
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Must be comfortable presenting to and promoting consensus-building with Senior Management across multiple departments, and Client partners.
• Heavy meetings with Client partners at weekly basis
• Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment

Education Requirement: Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar

Top 3 Skill Sets:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite.
• SCM forecast planning experience
• Excellent Communication skills (written, verbal)
