Basic Function :
Responsible for overall direction and control of Grand Aleutian Hotel Food and Beverage outlets and banquets. Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain good working relationships with employees.
Facilitate business growth in food and beverage outlets.
Essential Duties :
Ensure all sales of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, and food follow federal, state, and local laws and ensure that all staff members have knowledge of and comply with these laws.
Ensure proper posting of all required licenses and permits pertaining to the bar and grill. Ensure that professional and responsible liquor service procedures are always followed.
Ongoing training in this area is mandatory.
Schedule staff to accommodate flow of business. Assure adequate staffing during heavy volume periods. Supervise and train employees.
Counsel and coach employees as needed.
Plan and organize all banquet functions with customers. Coordinate menu with Chef and schedule proper staff to achieve successful events.
Coordinate with Public Attendants for proper setup of banquet spaces.
Position Requirements :
This is an hourly non-exempt position with a rate of $21.10 - $27.45 per hour.
