Fleet Administrator, Sr. jobs in South Carolina

Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     What You'll Do In This Position

    Plan, organize, construct, and execute the strategies and programs for SRS Mission objective prime contract compliance. Ensure strategies are implemented to support financial, quality, delivery and risk objectives of Management & Operation Contractor and Department of Energy – Savannah River (DOE-SR). Support leadership of customer representatives and internal leadership, peers and subordinates necessary to foster team understanding and unity of purpose.

    Work to gain broad understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR). Interface with Finance, DOE Contracts and customers. Develop supporting details for programs, prime contract requirements, Contract Administration's responsibilities and the importance of CA's engaged involvement in issues that could have impacts on site work. Administer contract changes and process modifications and letters of direction. Develop correspondence to ensure complete and organized files. Maintain or create routine status reports. Develop understanding of roles and responsibilities of Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Project Controls, Project Management, and Engineering. Support a variety of contract administration activity related to correspondence review and approval coordination, Strategic Partnership Project (SPP) and other internal work order processing, or general work as assigned. Coordinate correspondence to ensure complete and organized files. Accept delegated responsibility for a phase of the contracting process which includes but is not limited to correspondence processing and monitoring of customer response, records management, modification processing, and weekly reporting. Support more senior contract professionals as needed or as assigned. Apply knowledge to study, development and analyses of contracts, processes or procedures relating to contract administration. Organize and accept responsibility for the accuracy of analysis and evaluation of results using standard techniques and procedures. Assist in the preparation of manuals, reports and procedures.

    Security Clearance Information

    SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    Bachelor degree in business or technical field preferred.

    Experience in business, finance, and/or contract terms and risk management is desired.

    Established organizational and inter-personal skills, and desire to increase written and verbal communication skills; able to perform under high levels of stress to meet deadlines in a contingency operations environment.

    Experienced with participating in teams and able to perform assignments with routine input of peers and supervisors.
