Fleet Administrator, Sr. jobs in California
Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Job Title: Vehicle Runner / Light Mechanic
Job Summary: As a vehicle light mechanic, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the organization's fleet of vehicles. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, Must be able to do oil changes, brakes, spark plugs, hoses, etc.
Responsibilities: As Listed Below
Fleet Maintenance- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all vehicles in the fleet.
- Coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and servicing to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs.
- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be 25 years of age or older and licensed for a minimum of 9 years
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays, especially during emergencies or special events.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, training, or inspections.
