Fleet Administrator jobs in North Carolina

Fleet Administrator assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Reports to the VP of Operations

    Responsible for operations schedule, coordinating meetings, tasks management, and truck fleet documentation and regulation management.

    Coordinate Operations schedule, tasks, and project follow-ups using Outlook and SharePoint.

    • Assist in communicating OPS tasks effectively.
    • Organize and facilitate meetings, including document gathering and logistical arrangements.
    • Manage and upkeep various records and documents for the VP of Operations and projects.
    • Collect data for analysis and reporting, including report creation and data entry.
    • Prioritize and respond to emails as required
    • Maintain confidentiality, demonstrating tact and discretion in handling sensitive information.

    Fleet Administration

    • Ensure the upkeep of vehicle titles, registration, insurance, and renewal of tags, and distribute them to
    • respective locations.
    • Act as a facilitator for managing driver software systems (e.g., Toll/big roads, stickers, IPASS, Sunpass, Wexonline, DOT Group).
    • Manage operational vehicles, including tracking mileage, aging, and general maintenance.
    • Provide support for driver management by utilizing software platforms such as Samsara or Verizon to track driver and truck data.
    • Other duties as assigned
