Fixed Income Analyst, Sr. jobs in Vermont

Responsibilities

·        Conduct fundamental analysis of individual municipal bond issuers.

·        Determine the appropriate asset allocation and securities selection strategy for individual and institutional clients.

·        Execute trades across various methods.

·        Assist with periodic reporting for assigned client relationships.

·        Assist and support the business development team.

·        Work closely with the investment team to assess the macroeconomic environment.

·        Develop content for periodic “white papers” and/or monthly commentary.

·        Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

·        7-10 years of credit analysis and/or portfolio management experience, primarily in the municipal bond sector

·        A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, CFA considered beneficial.

·        A true team approach that embraces process improvement and doing whatever is necessary to complete the job at hand within a small company environment

·        Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

·        Strong aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

·        A desire to serve clients and teammates
