Fitness Instructor jobs in South Dakota
Fitness Instructor coordinates all fitness programs for a facility. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Being a Fitness Instructor ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure that the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Additionally, Fitness Instructor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Fitness Instructor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. You will be responsible for coaching and leading 30 minute high energy group fitness sessions. You must have attention to detail and also be willing to go the extra mile to help all clients that may be needing assistance. We truly are a team at Fit Body and will expect that you embrace what it means to be on a team.
We ask that you have knowledge in the health and fitness industry and are willing to get certified (We will pay for your certification). The hours available are either 4:30am - 9am Mon thru Fri and/or 3pm - 7pm Mon thru Fri. Am or Pm set hours - whichever works best for applicant.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
