Group Fitness Cycle Instructor:

• Lead, instruct, and motivate participants in group cycling classes
• Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time
• Provides adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down or teaches to a specific format
• Plans engaging lessons, ensures the proper use of bikes, and maintains the cleanliness of the workout space
• Leads exciting, challenging rhythm-based indoor classes
• Greets all participants prior to the class and tracks class attendance
• Is a role model and professional representative of the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties
• Continues training and is educated in the health and fitness industry and keeps certifications up to date

Pay & Benefits:

• • $14.69/hour
  • Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• At least 3-6 months of Cycle Instructor experience
• Within 4 months of hire: Group Fitness Certification in a mode taught at the YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties
• CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, and Infant (training available!)
