  • Objective of the position: Ensure Hope Rising is providing services to clients in an efficient and effective manner
    Reports to: Client Services Director
    Supervises: Client Advocate Volunteers, Office Assistants, and Resource Coordinator (if applicable)
    Status: Part-time; hourly
    Scheduled hours: 7 hours – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
    Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, management, ministry, or related experience equivalent desired
    Skills: Staff & volunteer management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and general knowledge of computer systems
    Qualifications:

    • Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position

    • Complete staff training for the position
    • Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision
    • Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to volunteers
    • Be able to commute to all centers
    • Essential functions:
    • Ensure that prayer is an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the pregnancy center site
    • Work with supervisors to execute strategic plan objectives to accomplish the ministry goals of the organization
    • Provide managerial direction for all Client Advocates, Office Assistants, and Resource Coordinators (if applicable)
    • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed to provide quality service to clients
    • Communicate the needs of the center with the Client Services Director
    • Oversee the management of file systems, Ekyros charting, inventories, client follow-up, and other operations
    • Ensure that the center site is clean and well-maintained
    • Provide year-end client statistical reports for the center site
    • Oversee the data entry of client information
    • Conduct written and oral evaluations of Office Assistants, Resource Coordinator (if applicable) & female Client Advocates yearly
    • Coordinate appreciation events for volunteers with the Client Services Director
    • Inform the Client Services Director, Director of Operations, or Executive Director of any problems that could impact the organization as a whole, internally, or publicly
    • Communicate nurse staffing needs with the Nurse Manager
    • Interview all prospective female Client Advocate volunteers with the Client Services Director
    • Oversee Client Advocates regarding professional telephone manners, scheduling of appointments, reception of clients, intake, follow-up, accurate record keeping, and adherence to the Hope Rising policy and procedures
    • Ensure adequate coverage for client services with Client Advocates and Office Assistants
    • Maintain client service appointment times available in eKyros
    • Serve as backup for Client Advocates
    • Perform pregnancy testing when nurses are not available
    • Work with the Client Services Director and other Center Directors to plan and facilitate meaningful and helpful quarterly In-service meetings
    • Provide volunteer and client-related information for the Volunteer and Life Light newsletters
    Other duties:
    • Oversee budget expenditures
    • Review monthly statistics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and targeting of strategic goals
    • Provide monthly written reports (by the 5th of every month) to the Client Services Director
    • Attend and participate in monthly Staff meetings held on the second Thursday of the month and operations meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month.

    • Frequent lifting of 20 lbs. or more
    The Center Director shall receive at least one annual written and oral evaluation by the Client Services Director.
    This position is eligible for paid time off, holiday pay, and retirement plan match. Scheduled hours may include evenings and Saturdays.
