Based out of Rochester, NH we the country's leading fire investigation company serving more than two thirds of the United States. Established and founded in 1993 the firm has grown to nearly 130 origin and cause experts. We are in need of a traveling Electrical Engineer to work along with fire investigators in the field to conduct failure analysis to assist in determining the cause of fires.
What You Will Be Doing
As One Of Our Electrical Engineers You Will
- Participate in arson investigations. Utilize modern digital microscope and photography technology.
- Utilize standard troubleshooting instruments such as multi-meters and tone testers.
- Write expert reports and fire scene/lab examination observations and summary.
- Design and build test fixtures and perform testing in a laboratory environment.
What You Need for this Position
- 5 years of experience working as an electrical engineer in a commercial setting
- BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- PE license is strongly preferred
- Experience with failure/root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Located and willing to travel within the New England on a daily basis
