Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department.     Position Summary

    The Lending Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the lending systems, processes, and technology used within the credit union. This role involves optimizing lending operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing member experiences in collaboration with the lending team. The Lending Systems Manager is also responsible for providing direction for the administration for systems and data of all areas of the lending division including Consumer, Mortgage, Indirect, Collections and Servicing.

    • Manage the daily operations to ensure optimal use of systems and activities such as system conversions, testing, and setup including Consumer and Mortgage Loan Origination Systems, Collection and Loan Servicing Platforms, Core Systems and ancillary systems used by the Lending Division.
    • Oversee the data analysis, reporting and data integrity of lending reports to optimize business performance and ensure key performance indicators are met.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, provide solutions, and implement said improvements within the Lending Division pertaining to systems and data administration.
    • Supervise, hire, train, schedule and assign work. Assess performance, coach or discipline Team Members as needed.
    • Act as a first level of support in problem resolution, questions, and escalations.
    • Meet with business partners including other Lending Leaders, IT, Compliance, Risk Management, etc. for new Lending Division initiatives and system and data changes initiated by the Lending Division.
    • Staying abreast of new lending rules to maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and company laws, regulations and/or policies for system maintenance application including TIL, TRID, MLA, HMDA, ECOA, FDCPA, etc.
    • Coach Team Members on how to implement and develop action plans to obtain their goals.
    • Foster a positive and engaging work environment for Team Members to ensure Employee Engagement KPIs are met.
    • Manage, monitor, and adjust optimization pipeline to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
    • Provide the final review and approval of test documentation prior to system, process and procedure changes.
    • Understand the duties of each Team Member position and have the ability to step in and successfully perform those duties without advance notice.
    • Maintain lending optimization logs and spreadsheets for changes, outages, daily operations, and vendor support.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA)

    • Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions and general operating policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation.
    • Knowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Office Suite, Loan Origination Systems, Financial Core Systems, Financial Reporting Systems, and other software’s.
    • Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding machines.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
    • Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.
    • Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously.
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
    • Ability to work independently with broad direction and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    The team member has supervisory responsibilities.

    Complexity & Scope of Work

    • The team member will ensure policies, procedures, and programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and compliant with professional standards.
    • The team member performs routine and generally related tasks without supervisory direction.
    • Tasks may occasionally have to be coordinated, integrated, and/or prioritized.
    • Courses of action are determined by established procedures and/or the Vice President, Lending Optimization
    • The team member’s work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the policies and procedures.
    • The team member uses independent judgment in making decisions.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds across the office and load them onto shelves for various needs.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Work involves the typical risks and discomforts associated with an office environment but is usually in an adequately cooled, heated, lighted, and ventilated area.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in general studies, business, management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of data administration and lending experience
    • Minimum of two (2) – three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
    • Experience with Loan Origination Systems, Financial Core Systems, and Financial Reporting Systems preferred
    • Proficiency in lending management software and systems.
