Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered provides sales and business development support for one or more licensed/registered investment product sales representatives. Performs customer service and administrative tasks to answer product questions, make changes to accounts, open new accounts, and receive orders. Being a Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered may execute orders from existing clients. Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Additionally, Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered coordinates referrals, sales appointments, and requests for information. Has a solid knowledge and understanding of the firm's product offerings. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Depending on the product's sold, may also require completion of FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative qualification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Forney Financial is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a small team of professionals, responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a fast-paced financial planning office. Responsibilities in this role include operational administrative processing related to the financial service industry, providing professional, friendly support to clients, and assisting in daily office needs. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, resourceful, a good problem solver, organized and has strong attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
o Prepare and process new account paperwork for advisors
o Prepare any additional follow up forms for clients per advisor’s request
o Send documents via e-signature to clients
o Create, edit, reset, and delete account view profiles for clients
o Manage and handle advisor notifications
o Follow through with all paperwork to ensure it is in good order
o Manage in and outbound calls with professionalism
o Mail agreements, brochures, and other client account paperwork to clients
o Research and resolve account issues or miscellaneous questions for clients and advisors
o Maintain files and prepare correspondence and documents for advisors and clients
