Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Scope: The Financial & Reporting Analyst reports to the Controller and assists in compiling and reporting on data to ensure compliance with construction contracts and internal policies and procedures to include prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, lien waiver compliance, and expense report reviews. The Financial & Reporting Analyst will provide support for various other projects as assigned to ensure contractual compliance and that the financial records are closed timely and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Physical Requirements: Abilty to lift up to 50 lbs on occassion.
Working Conditions: Most work time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. Occasional time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
Location: This position is located in our West Lebanon, NH, office with two-day per week hybrid flexibility after initial training period.
