RESPONSIBILITIES

Become an important part of our international financial reporting team as a Senior Accountant to support us in accounting and projects for the BASF Group companies.

• From day one, you take on responsibility in challenging projects and contribute your application experience in the field of S/4HANA.
• You contribute your expertise in General Ledger, External Reporting as well as Asset and Lease Accounting to the technical and functional development of the department.
• You demonstrate your communication skills both in cross-departmental and cross-site cooperation as well as in the exchange with / training of service units.
• You secure knowledge through comprehensive documentation and share it in global communities. You are open to digital transformation by providing ideas and implementation support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in business administration, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• knowledge of business and SAP processes and their implementation in the areas of finance (accounting)
• very good knowledge of S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, SAP New GL 
• high affinity for IT and interest in digitalization topics
• first experience in project management as well as knowledge of accounting
• effective communication in English

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 53.000 - 56.000€, depending on qualification and work experience.
