Director of FP&A- High growth PE backed manufacturer

A growing PE backed manufacturer is looking to hire a high caliber Director of FP&A. This position will provide global leadership for financial planning and analysis processes and reporting activities. Responsibilities will include developing, implementing and maintaining effective financial planning capabilities and processes that will provide the sales and operations teams with tools to establish goals, measure and improve the Company’s performance. This position will be responsible for the annual operating plan and budgeting process. Responsible for the Company-wide periodic cash flow forecasting process. The company is continuing to grow through M&A activity making integration and best practices paramount. The organization is headquartered in the Rosemont area and has a hybrid work schedule typically three days a week in office.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the annual strategic planning process
• Lead the Company-wide annual operating plan/budgeting process.
• Lead the Company-wide periodic financial forecasting process.
• Lead the cash flow forecasting process.
• Work with business unit finance leaders on driving consolidated reporting process
• Prepare Board of Directors and PE owner reporting packages
• Participate in financial modeling of mergers and acquisitions activities as necessary.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as directed by the CFO, CEO and other Senior leaders

Experience needed for the role:

• Local Chicago area candidate
• Corporate FP&A leadership experience and comfort presenting to Senior leadership
• Personality and communication skills necessary to drive FP&A process through BU leaders
• Product based industry experience
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and/or DCF modeling preferred
• Strong systems and technology skills and willingness to be hands on
