POSITION SUMMARY: Will be responsible for providing patients with a positive financial experience by helping patients navigate and understand their current insurance benefits and potential financial liability. Will be the point of contact for financial assistance questions including but not limited to payment plans, sliding fee discount program (SFDP), and collections activity. SFDP duties can include approval of applications, setup of slide in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), follow-up on incomplete, expired, or outstanding applications, and communication with patients regarding all aspects of the program. SFDP duties will also encompass an understanding of and compliance with the SFDP policy and procedures as well as working with financial and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) auditors to demonstrate One Health compliance with same.
COMPENSATION: $17.99-$18.35/hr DOE
