Jenks, OK - Gateway First Bank is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to pull the strategic plan materials together, build the LOB templates, consolidate Excel files, analyze the results and provide commentary. This is an ideal opportunity for a 4-5 year experienced Analyst to get to know Gateway’s business, leaders, and how the financials are prepared. Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting with the financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, preparing variance analysis and financial results commentary, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing ad-hoc research and analysis as may be required by leadership.
Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Reviews and analyzes financial statements and information system reports, explains variances, highlights trends, and provides economic commentary in order to strengthen business activities.
Develops and tracks KPIs and prepares financial reports for business units.
Assists with long-term strategic planning, annual budgeting and period end financial reporting.
Reviews business drivers and economic indicators impacting the businesses and provides insights and analytics to business line leaders.
Develops financial projections and build financial models.
Exercise awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Perform all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Advanced knowledge of financial planning and financial analysis, procedures and practices
Advanced knowledge of financial strategies.
Understands key business drivers and economic indicators.
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, predominately Excel, database management
Strong organizational skills
Detail-oriented and able to perform in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to prepare complex reports and proficient in college-level math.
Ability to interpret and explain complex reports to a variety of audiences

Equivalent Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and modeling
