Finance Manager manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. Being a Finance Manager forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. Provides guidance to managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced. Additionally, Finance Manager oversees the budget process and works with managers to produce and manage effective budgets. Acts as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or director. The Finance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Finance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role Type: Full-time, Temporary (12 months)
The Export Finance Lending Manager is a critical role to ensure the overall performance of the Small Business lending channel, and delivery of the relevant customer growth objectives for this channel. Proactively driving conversion and improved customer experience are key functions of this role, which involves responsibility for converting opportunities for the Small Business lending channel into signed customers. This includes owning and proactively driving applications and submissions, ensuring customers progress through the application process and delivering the overall performance of the Small Business Lending pipeline.
Ownership and accountability for managing lending opportunities and referrals from Marketing or Mid-Market suitable for the SBL product/Small Business channel, and actively driving these to signing. This will also require establishing and leveraging relationships with internal partners.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in business lending, with minimum 5 years’ experience in customer success or business development, preferably within financial services. Proven experience in managing business or other lending applications with customers is ideal.
