The Field Operations Manager at Savvy Sliders plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all franchise locations uphold our brand standards with excellence. This position is responsible for overseeing multiple store locations, optimizing operations, and serving as a brand ambassador to provide the best customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular visits to all assigned locations at least twice a week or as required based on store needs, spending a minimum of 1-2 hours at each location. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
2. Perform weekly Savvy Audit (Store Walk) to identify and address urgent store needs, providing action plans and photos to maintain brand standards and operational excellence.
3. Conduct quarterly Peak Performance Review (Store Operations Audit) to ensure compliance in areas of People, Products, Service, and brand image, providing detailed action plans.
4. Assist in the implementation of the business-to-business (B2B) Savvy catering program by contacting local businesses, providing owner contacts, and driving sales through grassroots local store marketing.
5. Ensure franchisees are set up for success through brand compliance and profitability.
6. Assist locations in managing staff levels, including recruiting, conducting interviews, assisting with orientation, training, and scheduling.
7. Collaborate with store teams to achieve labor and food cost goals for profitability.
8. Assist franchisees to utilize product order guide to maintain appropriate food stock and cost, reviewing orders, prep, and par list regularly.
9. Assist in introducing Limited Time Offerings (LTOs) and implement all new directives or operational updates.
10. Assist franchisees to maintain the overall atmosphere in each store, including landscaping, marketing, staffing uniforms and behavior, music, and TV options.
11. Assist franchisees in maintaining all equipment, including cleaning and repair.
12. Provide weekly email recaps for each store, including sales, labor, food cost, catering opportunities, staffing levels, and building needs.
13. Evaluate training and development needs of each location, providing necessary materials and resources.
14. Ensure each store is up to date with ServSafe certification for each shift leader and higher, legally required postings, and health department compliance.
15. Assist in building the rewards program and other corporate initiatives.
16. Keep each location informed of corporate updates, including deals and menu changes.
17. Have a disciplined and follow through attitude, outgoing personality and be a culture ambassador of the brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in restaurant operations management or related fields.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining brand standards and customer experience.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
Time Expectations, Salary and Benefits:
- Field Operations Managers expected to work /-50 hours per week - willing to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.
- Salary ranges between $65,000 - $90,000 per year depending on experience.
