Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. - Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
- Develop and Modify detailed design of industrial control systems including:
o Sizing of panels.
o Component layout.
o AC and DC power distribution, protection and grounding.
o Specification of all control panel components.
o Networking drawings.
o System Architecture drawings.
- Clearly identify product and/or customer requirements, and generate specifications based upon those requirements.
- Interface directly with internal resources, customers and engineering firms.
- Develop and modify drawings as directed by the lead engineer or panel fabrication shop manager using various versions of AutoCAD.
- Interpret P&ID, process flows, specifications, and other system design documentation to use as a basis of control system design.
- Provide control panel designs compliant with required industry standards (i.e. UL508A).
- Maintain current knowledge of control panel design and drafting procedures.
- Convert Drawings from AutoCAD to PDF.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite to import bill of materials and other documents into AutoCAD.
- Develop and maintain a “library” of commonly used panel components to streamline design of future panels.
- Assist engineering in development and enhancements of company-wide standards.

Required
Experience- 3 years experience in panel design 5 years experience in drawing development using AutoCAD
- Strong computer and networking skillset, covering both computer hardware and software. Operating systems include Microsoft Windows Server and domain topologies, networking includes switches, routers and firewalls, as well as physical hardware transport layers (fiber and copper).
Education
Required- High School or better
- Associates or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Associates or better in Computer Science or related field
