WOW STUDIOS is looking for a Freelance Assistant Fashion Designer to join our Tucson, AZ and Seattle, WA team. Based out of Tucson, AZ.
ASSISTANT FASHION DESIGNER – ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION!
We are looking for an Assistant Designer that will utilize their skills to assist and support the design team with daily design-related and administrative tasks. The candidate will assist with the design development process from start to finish to support the Tucson, AZ and Seattle, WA Designers' creative direction.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in inspiration research and collaborate with all team members.
· Input and maintain organization of styles and databases.
· Handle and follow up on outgoing and incoming fabrics, prints, samples and other design materials for garments.
· Work as a liaison to other parties on behalf of the Designer and team.
· Take ownership of organizational information.
· Assist Designer with Flat sketching, Tech Pack building and CAD Decks.
Qualifications/Experience:
· Degree in Fashion Design or similar related field.
· Entry-level position, but experience working in a design room/fashion field preferred.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft required; Adobe Creative Cloud required-specifically Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. An organized individual with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
· A responsible and dependable team player that can work efficiently on a timeline.
*Design Portfolio required. Must include Adobe Creative Cloud technical flats, cads and illustration.
