We are looking for an individual with an exceptional customer service attitude and technical skills to fill a full-time service position, performing general maintenance and repair services at several charter school locations in the greater Nashville area. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment, and building/site components; including painting, patching drywall, changing light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, unclogging toilets, changing HVAC filters, and general service work.
  
• Handle service and inspection reports (fire extinguishers, light test, 30-second emergency lights, plumbings, door hardware.
• Complete timesheets, and other required documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner.
• Work with event setup and tear-down

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting basic maintenance in commercial settings; showing proven ability to work independently diagnosing and completing repairs.
• EPA certification and proficiency with a voltmeter, gauges, and overall understanding of HVAC systems; a plus
• Daily driving required; must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive a company or customer vehicles
• Willing to occasionally work evenings or weekends when required.  Very little overtime. 
• Must be able to pass the criminal background check required to work in educational facilities with children present
  
• Must be able to work in a Free-Smoke environment

• Demonstrate basic computer and smartphone skills for research, communication, and recordkeeping

Physical:

• Work will be both indoor and outdoor and require long periods of movement and activity. 
• This employment typically requires: climbing, reaching, standing, walking, and grasping, work environments may be noisy and include repetitive motions. 
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds (on an intermittent basis)
  

Full time:
  40 hrs/week

Mon- Fri,  from 7 am - 3:30 pm with occasional weekend responsibilities.

This position requires a smartphone. SFM will provide a phone, however, if the employee decides to continue using their personal phone for SFM business we will pay an allowance of $30 per month
