Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Associate Material Planner in La Crosse WI. The Associate Material Planner is responsible for managing raw material and component purchases and their timely delivery to the manufacturing plant to support the assembly operations. The Associate Material Planner Material Planner will collaborate with enterprise strategic procurement, supplier representatives, logistics, scheduling, engineering, quality, finance and assembly operations teams to solve problems, improve processes and key metrics.
This position will be based on-site at our La Crosse, WI facility full time and is considered a safety-sensitive role.
