Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Position Summary

    As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead our efforts to attract, identify, and secure top talent, championing a strategic and holistic approach to talent acquisition. You will refine and optimize CEC’s talent acquisition framework, strengthen our employer brand, and ensure an engaging and effective onboarding process for new hires. This role demands a dynamic leader who can effectively manage high-volume recruiting, execute executive searches for the company, and lead initiatives that support our overarching business goals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that integrates cutting-edge sourcing and recruitment methods for all positions at CEC.
    • Lead both the talent acquisition team and executive search efforts, fostering a unified strategy across business units and regions to optimize recruitment outcomes.
    • Design and streamline recruitment processes, improve job postings, and oversee recruitment marketing on external platforms.
    • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from crafting job descriptions to negotiating job offers.
    • Collaborate closely with Marketing to optimize and promote our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring it resonates with our target demographic and amplifies our recruitment efforts.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with trade schools and universities, leading initiatives to cultivate a pipeline of emerging talent.
    • Drive the adoption of technology and continuous process improvements in talent acquisition, including advanced ATS management and candidate experience enhancements.
    • Lead recruitment efforts for both veteran and new talent pipelines, ensuring diverse and strategic talent acquisition.
    • Provide ongoing training and support to hiring managers on best recruitment practices, enhancing skills in candidate selection, interviewing, and compliance.
    • Oversee the recruiting budget, focusing on strategic investment and maximizing ROI and effectiveness.
    • Lead executive recruitment. Personal responsibility for hiring top leadership talent and negotiating contracts with external recruiting sources, if needed.
    • Establish and manage talent analytics to track department performance, ensuring a data-driven approach to optimizing hiring processes and outcomes.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
    • Proven leadership in talent acquisition with at least 5 years in a managerial and/or leadership role, ideally within the construction industry to related fields.

    Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    • Proven effectiveness, ability, and passion for executive search placement.
    • Expertise in coordinating high-volume (ramp-up) recruiting with a strong record of meeting hiring needs.
    • Proficient in developing, monitoring, and utilizing recruiting metrics to create scorecards that drive strategic decision-making.
    • Forward-thinking with knowledge and ability to leverage technological advances, such as Generative AI to enhance recruitment processes.
    • Comprehensive understanding of recruitment laws and practices, ensuring all practices meet legal requirements.
    • Demonstrated experience in budget management with the ability to provide detailed metrics on recruitment ROI.
    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making skills, adept at transforming challenges into opportunities through innovative problem-solving.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a business-partner approach that builds partnerships and establishes trust across the organization, all while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
