Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to determine their current fitness levels and goals
- Design personalized exercise programs based on individual needs, taking into consideration any medical conditions or limitations
- Instruct and guide patients on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage
- Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and proper form
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to help patients stay committed to their exercise program
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide progress updates
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate any concerns or changes to the healthcare team
Requirements:
** Medical Exercise Certification is not required for hire**
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing personalized exercise programs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients
- Proficient in monitoring vital signs during exercise sessions
- Ability to adapt exercise programs for individuals with varying fitness levels and medical conditions
Salary:
Payment is offered in a 3 Tier system depending on billable hours. Please inquire within for information on salary structure.
