Machine Ethics is looking for the right fit for our team. We currently need a Full-Time Traveling Maintenance Technician.

This position requires 100% travel commitment. We offer an exceptional per diem program for our technicians of $150 per night! Hotels, vehicle, and gas are covered!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Preventative maintenance on industrial machines.
• Traveling throughout the State of Michigan and surrounding areas.
• Independently diagnosing and troubleshooting potential problem areas or noticeable machine wear.
• Performing high level mechanical repairs associated with hydraulics, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, PLC, and CNC.
• Educate, innovate, and collaborate alongside a strong team.
• Always provide next level customer service and engagement.
• Learn job management software and accurately track completed work.

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine engineering, industrial maintenance, machine rebuild, machine repair or closely related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role.
• Demonstratable skills in any skillset you possess.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team for various projects.
• Ability to comprehend high-level electrical, hydraulic, and other prints with attention to detail, required.
• Experience with a variety of CNC machine controls preferred.
• Exceptional professionalism and customer service skills.

Other Requirements

• This job requires travel therefore it requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Some tools provided, others are required to be owned by you.
