Mission Adelante is an urban ministry with, of, and for immigrants and refugees that combines a unique church model with robust outreach programs, refugee resettlement, and community development to realize both individual and community transformation.  We make disciples and develop leaders from within our diverse community and we build collaborative partnerships in our neighborhood and across the city to create initiatives that transform our neighborhood.

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a versatile individual with a strong finance background and exceptional problem solving skills to oversee the critical business and back office functions of our organization. The Operations Director must be able to wear many hats, learn new skills, and excel at creating systems that help our organization accomplish its mission. The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that Mission Adelante operates efficiently, ethically, and safely.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Finance [30%]: Collaborate with a Finance Manager and our staff to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, accountability, and ethics in our financial practices.

• Human Resources [20%]: Pursue best practices in the creation and execution of policies and procedures for hiring, training, and managing our employees.

• Office Administration [20%]: Oversee administrative systems and resources to ensure an efficient, productive, and safe office environment for staff, volunteers, and participants.

• Facilities and Fleet [20%]: Oversee the appropriate and safe use and maintenance of our facilities, vehicles, and major equipment.

• Information Technology [10%]: Ensure user-friendly, efficient, and low-maintenance solutions and applications for our information technology.
