The Team:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the FP&A Director serves as a key member to the Unison finance team. The candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of the financial reporting and treasury functions while also working closely with M&A, Origination, Human Resources, Legal, and senior management; The successful candidate will work closely with these teams to optimize financial performance of the company as a whole. This role will aid in providing timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, treasury management, and assist with month end close activities. They will support a variety of recurring financial processes as well as projects and ad hoc analyses
Ideal candidates should have a degree in finance and 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multi-entity global structure.
Autonomous, resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset will help you succeed in this position. Hybrid for this role means being capable of meeting with the finance team 2-3 times per quarter. The role is otherwise remote.
The Job:
· Partner with SG&A business leaders and provide key support to help them understand expenses and make informed strategic decisions for their functions.
· Assist in month end close and forecasting processes.
· Annual budget and updates; Capital planning; Monthly financial close; Business forecasting, as appropriate.
· Prepared managerial reporting including operational KPIs.
· Oversee all cash management activities including cash positioning, forecasting, and intercompany activities.
· Lead the monitoring and maintenance of debt covenants.
· Variance analysis of results to budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
· Support Finance and Business teams in the preparation of annual budgets and related business plans.
· Support the cross-border consolidation of the financial data of the group entities.
· Financial modeling including returns and diligence for acquisitions; Debt facilities including compliance.
· Provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in the field of Finance or related field and 7 years of experience
· Experience with general accounting principles and procedures, financial forecasting techniques, compiling and presenting financial analysisHighly analytical, organized with exceptional attention to detail
· Robust knowledge of Excel and ERP
