Pay range: $99,300 to $162,600 per year

About this position:

This position is responsible for leading the electric transmission Project Management Office (PMO) team and portfolio of projects from initiation to final execution. The manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of large complex projects and initiatives and is responsible for providing leadership and direction over a team of project managers. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong understanding of project management principles and able to effectively lead and coordinate with other functional groups to meet expected outcomes and strategic direction for large complex electric infrastructure projects.

About this job:

• Leads special projects as required utilizing effective change and project management techniques

• Provide leadership and responsibility of the PMO assigned portfolio of electric transmission infrastructure and interconnection projects and initiatives to support NorthWestern Energy's vision and objectives
• Compile and write technical reports, presentations and other initiative materials
• Develop and manage detail and complex project schedules, budgets and scopes
• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple internal departments to accomplish objectives
• Job time is spent in office and field environment with exposure to all field hazards and weather
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
• Travel up to 20%, including overnights and weekends

• Ability to effectively lead diverse teams and manage conflicting schedules and priorities
• Building & maintain effective working relationships with direct reports and other department leadership
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
